As part of Reading month in March, each classroom door is decorated in a Dr. Seuss theme. The 8th grade class is "Oh, the Places You'll Go." Each student included his/her future plans.

Congratulations to our Bishop Kelley 7/8 Band students on their First Division rating at Band Festival on Friday night. As part of the Zemmer Symphony Band, our students performed 3 pieces of music in the Flushing High School auditorium. Then, they had 5 minutes in the sight-reading room to look over a piece which they had never seen. After the 5 minutes, they played that, too. They received a "1" rating from all 4 judges.

In 7th grade religion we are studying the Sacraments of Initiation - Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation. We followed the Rite of Baptism for Children as we "baptized" Elizabeth Ruth, Melissa's baby doll.
